Since 2011 I have been working with individuals suffering from depressed mood, anxiety, grief, addictions, pain, trauma, and relationship issues. I have worked with adults in groups and individual therapy. I have also conducted psychological assessments with children, adolescents, and adults.
I obtained my MSc in Clinical Psychology from Acadia University and a BA Hons in Psychology from the University of Guelph. I have been registered as a Psychotherapist in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario since 2015 and am eligible for registration as a Psychological Associate with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.
In addition to my clinical work, I’ve worked on research in the areas of occupational health and safety and clinical program evaluation. Prior to becoming a clinician, I worked for four years in Human Resources. Each stage of my career has certainly helped me to develop an extensive understanding of workplace and clinical issues.
When not at work you will usually find me watching a live band, spending time with friends and family, or heading off to a new destination. I am the daughter of a musician and a novice guitarist. I have travelled in four continents where I enjoyed learning about new cultures and attempting to communicate in new languages. I am active outdoors and I like to connect with nature by running, walking my dog, and swimming.
